El Morado Camp.

We will immerse ourselves in the depths of the Cajon del Maipo, at the foot of the El Morado glacier. We will have the privilege of sleeping by its lagoon, beneath the stars.

On this tour, we will head toward the Morado Glacier, located in Arenas Park, a private conservation park, in Santiago's backyard. A couple of hours from Santiago, we reach the beginning of the valley that will lead us to the foot of this glacier, one of the most emblematic of the region. While it’s close to the city, it feels like we’re a world away.

On the way, we will pass through the glacial moraines up to a steep section that culminates in the Laguna del Morado plateau. Here we will settle our camp and we will be able to appreciate in the foreground the hanging glacier coming from the imposing Mt. El
Morado. An incredible and hard-to-believe landscape that is so close to a city such as Santiago. This area is ideal for camping and enjoying a delightful meal under the stars.
